Is Cosmopor® Advance suitable for heavily exuding wounds?
No. It is designed for post-operative and minor wound coverage. For heavy exudate, use a superabsorbent dressing such as Zetuvit® Plus.
Can it be used on infected wounds?
No. Cosmopor® Advance is not indicated for clinically infected wounds.
How often should it be changed?
Every 1–3 days depending on exudate level and wound progression.
Is it waterproof?
No. Cosmopor® Advance is not fully waterproof. Protect the dressing during showering and change it if it becomes wet.
