Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Have a question we haven't answered? Reach out on WhatsApp — we usually reply the same business day.

How long can Sorbalgon® Ag stay on the wound?
Up to 7 days depending on exudate level. Change sooner if the dressing becomes saturated or clinically indicated.
Does it require a secondary dressing?
Yes. Use an appropriate secondary dressing such as Zetuvit® Plus for moderate to heavy exudate.
Can it be used on dry wounds?
No. Sorbalgon® Ag requires moisture to activate gel formation and silver release. For dry wounds, consider a hydrogel-based dressing.
Is it suitable for patients with silver sensitivity?
No. Discontinue use if sensitivity occurs.
